Staying at Happy Hound Hotel

If you are a new client, please make sure your dog fits our criteria before requesting a reservation:
All non-aggressive, well-socialized, altered dogs over 40 lbs are welcome.

  • The average number of dogs that we accept is between 15 and 20.
  • During holiday times, those numbers may go up slightly.
  • We like to keep our groups relatively small in order to provide one-on-one attention
  • We require that you and your dog schedule an appointment to visit us for an evaluation before your dog comes to stay.

Boarding rates and notices

Arrivals

  • between 8am & 10am - $57 (full day rate)
  • between 4pm & 6pm - $35 (half day rate)

Departures

  • between 4pm & 6pm - $57 (full day rate)
  • between 8am & 10am - $35 (half day rate)

We do not charge on a 24-hr. basis - we run on full days and half days. First Time Guests must arrive during the morning time slot.


CASH discount - $55 per day
only if paid at time of pick-up!

Daycare: Daily rates (per dog):

  • $40 for full day (more than 4 hrs.)
  • $30 for half day (4 hrs. or less)
  • Note: No half days in the afternoon

Daycare payment is due in advance for the upcoming month. Same payment methods apply.

Cancellation Policy: If you cancel within 24 hours of drop off time, we will credit you toward your next month's bill. Otherwise, payment will be forfeited. We do not give cash refunds.

No pickups are permitted from Noon - 4pm

Extended Stay Discount: A 10% discount will apply to stays 10 days or more.


Holiday rates & info:

There is a $100 booking fee required at holidays. We cannot hold your dog's reservation until receipt of deposit by specified date.

Rates include a $20 additional fee on actual holiday: President's Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day.

Holiday Cancellation Policy (fees are per dog) - if you cancel:

  • within 72 hours of scheduled arrival date - $50 fee
  • within 24 hours of scheduled arrival date - $100 fee

Payment Methods:

Payment is due when you pick up your dog, so please be prepared to make the payment when you pick up you dog. We accept cash, checks, and credit cards (Visa and Mastercard only) and through Paypal.
